POST-DOC POSITION: SYNTHESIS OF BIOACTIVE SCAFFOLDS WITH CONTROLLED POROSITY

A post-doc position is opening at Institut Pascal (UMR 6602 CNRS) in collaboration with the Institut of Chemistry of Clermont-Ferrand (ICCF, UMR 6296 CNRS) in Clermont-Ferrand, France ( http://ip.univ-bpclermont.fr/ ).

The candidate should have strong skills in material science especially analysis and interpretation of the structures via microscopy (optical, SEM) and porosity characterization (gas adsorption, mercury porosimetry). Background in sol-gel synthesis would be appreciated. The candidate should have interest for chemical engineering aspect of the process.

Se ha abierto una plaza posdoctoral en el Instituto Pascal (UMR 6602 CNRS) en colaboración con el Instituto de Química de Clermont-Ferrand (ICCF, UMR 6296 CNRS) en Clermont-Ferrand, Francia ( http://ip.univ-bpclermont.fr/ ).

El candidato debe tener fuertes bases en ciencia de materiales, especialmente en el análisis e interpretación de estructuras a partir de microscopia (óptica, SEM), y en caracterización de porosidad (adsorción de gas, porosimetría con mercurio). Es deseable que el candidato posea conocimientos de síntesis sol-gel. El candidato debe tener interés por los aspectos de ingeniería química del proceso.
